A carer is anyone who gives unpaid care to a spouse, family member or friend who has an illness, disability or condition which affects their physical or mental wellbeing, and who cannot manage without that care.
Cornwall Carers’ Service is a support service for all adult carers and offers the following:

Community Energy Plus is a Cornish charity providing energy advice and practical help to households across the county.
This is some of the support they provide:
· Help with understanding and managing energy bills and speaking with energy suppliers on behalf of the customer
· Tips on keeping warm and how to reduce damp and mould
· Access to grants for improvements and upgrades such as insulation and energy efficiency
· Advice on saving energy and money
· Signposting to other support and discounted tariffs from South West Water
· Links to other services, locally and nationally
· Referrals for free home fire safety checks, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
